From Siol to T-2

I switch to another Isp provider T-2. First four days there have been some problems. Than we install new cables. I get vdsl-2 modem too. Speed is bigger than previous. It looks like it will be all right. In virtualization I'm now using VirtualBox. It's pretty amazing in my opinions better than vmware. Still cycling with bycicles at local hills. Mornings are fresh what I enjoying.

Upgrade hardware migrate os

I upgrade hardware on one computer. Migrate os to Debian etch. It rocks. Using virtualbox in it for other Os Windows Xp, 2003 for testing purposes.
Dual display is very good. How much ram is good for virtualization, minimum 2Gb Ram but I prefer 4Gb Ram and dual core for cpe.

Programming in c# using data binding techniques.

To make simple backup root partion in Linux do this

Novell netware 6

Today I install Novell Netware 6 operating system for networking services with vmplayer in Kubuntu with no problems. Still testing.

Busy at job

I'm quite busy at my work. Anywhay I will upgrade one of my computer.
Still preferabe using Linux at my work. Testing Kubuntu, Fedoro, EasyEclipse.
Windows 2003 server is pretty amazing but the costs of licensing is too mutch I think. I will testing 64 bit environment. Lately I will upgrade to Barcelona cpe.

Much to learn.

New days are coming in year 2007

Nowadays are pretty the same. I work at my job. I have new scientific calculator hp 50g for calculate large numbers and formulas, because old one hasn't got many options like new one. We are preparing ourself for RK. Still heavealy using fedoro and kubuntu. Modernize this blog with template. Install tomcat 5.5 on fedora and lampp. The wheather is pretty cool here. Temperatures are about up 10 degrees which is pretty not usual for this place. Slovenia I love you.

Upgrade from gentoo to fedora 6

In this days I upgrade one of my operating system from gentoo to fedora 6. First I have problem with nvidia graphics card for two dual display. Finally I manage to get stable picture on both monitors. This is my xorg.conf.

What I'm doing. Look for computers and network at my job. Ibm Blade server doesn't impress me so much I thought. I still using pretty much Linux os. Practise with kix on windows workstations. Still much learning to do. Home backup is now much reliable. Fixing past screws up. Testing openswan environment with ipsec.
Invest some money in cycle tools.
